ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

LEAH BIDDINGER

From a young age, rescuing animals wasn’t just something Leah did—it was who she was. She never turned away an animal in need, bringing home everything from birds and snakes to cats and dogs. Over the years, her home became a lively sanctuary filled with chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Her compassion extended beyond her home. Leah made countless emergency trips to wildlife rehabilitation centers, helping injured birds and orphaned baby bunnies. Through it all, one thing remained constant: her home was always a safe and loving place for animals in need.

A TURNING POINT

In December 2017, Leah was diagnosed with T4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma. During her recovery from surgery and radiation, she faced one of the most challenging periods of her life. But even in the midst of that battle, her commitment to animals never stopped. While healing, Leah began dedicating her time to helping lost pets find their way home. She spent hours searching lost-and-found pages, connecting families with their missing pets, and scanning stray animals for microchips. What started as a way to stay connected to her passion quickly became something much more meaningful.

FINDING PURPOSE THROUGH RESCUE

Through her journey, Leah realized that helping animals wasn’t just something she loved—it was her true calling. With renewed purpose and determination, she turned her lifelong passion into something bigger. That’s how Bring Em Home Animal Rescue & Trapping was born. Leah turned one of the hardest chapters of her life into a mission that continues to save countless animals. Every rescue, every reunion, and every life saved is part of that story.
